Travel Photo Diary: Heritage Houses in Las Casas PART 1

1:08 PM

Here is an update of my quick trip to Las Casas de Acuzar, the Heritage Resort- a first of its kind in the country heck even in Asia and the world (not sure hehe). Its like having our own version of ancient Rome.

I took way too much photos because everything looked awesome. The vista is clear with blue skies serving as its backdrop.

Note: ALL PHOTOS ARE MINE, KINDLY CREDIT THE OWNER...

Casa Cagayan
Rate: Php 6,500  (Long Weekends and  Holidays)
Php 5525 (Friday to Saturday)
Php 4875 (Sunday to Thursday)
Inclusive: Set Breakfast at Marivent Hotel, Use of Pool and Beach, Walking Tour, All taxes and surcharge

Casa Cagayan, is one of the most affordable house option. This is a replica of "alipin"'s (slave) house. Now don't be fooled with the slave connotation. This humble abode is large enough to accommodate a family. During the trip, it was just me and my friend. I requested for a twin bed but you can add up to two more bunk bed for two more adults.
This house can be too noisy because it is just beside the swimming pool area. But the noise is up to 6:00 pm only, you can still tucked in early and capped off your R and R for your much needed early to bed.
The house has a lot of space,  LED TV, bath provisions, coffee and tea provisions, an electric fan and a standee air-conditioning unit. Our Cagayan house got way too cold during the night but none of us budge to turn off the AC unit  (we lost the remote under the sheets :)

Paseo de Escolta
Rates per night:
Studio Deluxe with Loft : from Php 6,375 up to 8500 (min 4 adults/2 kids)
Executive Suites : from Php 7875 to 10,500  (min 6 adults / 2 kids)
Inclusive: Set Breakfast at Marivent Hotel, Use of Pool and Beach, Walking Tour, All taxes and surcharge

This eye-catching building is a favorite location for prenup shoots, because it looked stunning daytime even nighttime. Notice the women sculptures on top floor, reminiscent of the sculptures in Bulacan. The Paseo de Escolta is a replica of the an old hotel in Escolta, Manila.
It housed several shops in the resort such as the Panederia (breads is a must!), souvenir shops, the Fotografia dela Escolta and the bike rental.

Price may be steep in the succeeding houses BUT mind you, when we were there, we were informed that Las Casas was fully booked. Wow! That is why during the tour only five houses (most of which are museum house were only allowed for viewing. The succeeding houses are perfect for big families and company outing or even a quick barkada trip.
